I do not sub-contract but sometimes I get something back from the trades as a referral fee. Sometimes they do me the odd favour and sometimes I get nothing. For me the most important thing is making sure my customers have SERVICE, SERVICE, SERVICE, with a smile. e-mail me

Well.....without the customer, I do not have much of a business and because I have been in business for over 25 years fixing things and I think this speaks for itself. But I have many customers who love me and there is something emotionally pleasing that I cannot describe. They are very happy to see me. So... we go out and eat lunch together and they invite me for dinner at the club. How many handymen do you know, that go to the club as guests of they're customers.? They will even lend me their Jag for a spin around town. I have even been given the keys to their cottages and summer homes to hang out for a week or two. I don't know about you but I know no one, that gets this kind of treatment from anybody. And I am honored to be in such a "low life profession" and be respected so highly.

Well, I have worked for actors and politicians that no body likes plus singers and bands and other famous people that just want the work done with minimum hassle. FBI and Yes even for or an intelligence agency too (you will have to buy the book) Lots of actors who don't want to be bothered and hey, I don't know who 1/2 these people are anyway. Once I got some passes to go to the Juno's and I was talking to the guys in Tragically Hip or what is even funnier is when I was speaking to Shania Twain, and afterwards someone had to point out the fact that she was a very famous person. To me she was just a nice women to talk to. That's it! So famous people hire me too.
