My "save time book on line" motto has just got more advanced.
The problems with making appointments the old way with telephone and scraps of paper or even a day-timer which you can loose is:
Lots of misunderstandings
How could I refer trades people to my customers directly?
How could I put everyone on the same page at the same time?
Could it be done in an easy way so my techs don't screw it up and try to make it complicated?
Could my "untech savvy" and technically challenged customers use it?
Could it be versatile enough to accommodate hundred or even perhaps thousands of services?
And could a customer book a particular person for a job. For example I may have three plumbers, but I customer may want to book a specific one, because she liked the way he worked. Now she can just book him in directly.
How could it remind people and the trades people of the appointments they were supposed to go to and when.
Could it also remind me when I need to call someone important.
But what if I was not near my computer. How could this be done so I still get my appointments?
