My Urban Assault Vehicle

I have 2 patents and as far as I am concerned, I have two too many.

Do you know how long it takes to get a U.S. Patent?  1 Year.  In Canada  12 years!!  12 Years!!!  What the heck are they doing there?  I DID NOT INVENT THIS TYPE OF DESIGN, I JUST MADE IT BETTER. WAS 50 YEARS AHEAD OF IT'S TIME ELECTRONICALLY.  8 years ago and it still is.

I wanted to buy myself a new really cool bicycle  but could not find anything really amazing, so I hooked up with a bike frame builder and  designed this.

I cannot take credit for the rear suspension as it was off a PRO-FLEX bike I had.  I cracked the frame and Pro-flex gave me another bike.  And when I asked them what should I do with the old one, they just gave it to me.  So I pondered and didn't want to throw out such a bike. So I stripped it of parts and make a whole new bike. Cool EH?

I wanted something no one else had.  I don't like this cookie cutter society and all which is in it.   Most is mass produced with little creativity and the bi-product is so much garbage we don't know what to do with it.

I went to Amsterdam  to see the latest technologies as they are about 100 years ahead of us in everything.  And got books on new and innovative bikes  but  if I was going to make something new then it better be really something no one has ever seen before.

It turned out great.   It is called the Urban Assault Vehicle.  For it's time it had a longer wheelbase because all the bikes I saw has much shorter ones and in my opinion a longer one would have provided additional stability, after all I was the first , as far as I know, to have a fully suspended one (shocks in the front and back).  Like usual many people told me longer is not better.  Within the last 10 years I have seen them get longer.  I hate it when I'm right. hahaheheheheeh

After it was finished, I was asked what I was going to call it?  I had no idea, so I went on the internet and made a contest.  Who-ever came up  with the name I would use would get a Les the HANDYMAN t-shirt.

WOW, I had no idea how many people wanted that t-shirt

And here are some of the names which were not chosen.   Which were also very creative and entertaining.

Mine is longer than yours!

A dentist in Michigan came up with  The Urban Assault Vehicle and he was really happy with his t-shirt.

Anyway  I have fun when I ride it down the street.  The shock value  people get when they "gock" at it, is  well worth the time  and effort I put into it.

I have no interest in producing it.  i created it for me to loose weight and in 2008 that is the mission.  I will no longer say, I have no time.  Instead, I will have no time for my business and only make the minimum do I can spend the time to get into shape which is the mission for 2008. Realizing that along with the fun I love to have, I should take care of my body too.  I  work on it a little here and there.  And  the sound system  which I installed on it is...well is  fantastic.

I am working on a new horn for it though and am looking for a good electronics technologist if you know one, please let me know.   I have had to create almost everything on this bike and I am getting tired for doing it.
