I am trying to find a good window company.  it is not so easy. I think European windows are really the best but I don't know why we have not adopted them here.

All I can say is stay away from wood. Wood you will always have to maintain.

When you spent 1,000 for a  window  it is my belief  that you should not have to touch it again.

There is a big difference between the door or window you get at your local building supply and their installers are usually subcontracted.  You get what you pay for.  Everything looks good when it is new.  The things that are build better,  last.  Everyone with experience already knows this.
